Tatarstan ranked among the leaders in the medal standings at the national Abilympics championship.
The national "Abilympics" 2025 championship concluded in Moscow, with more than a thousand participants — schoolchildren from age 14, students and working citizens with disabilities or limited health abilities, as well as participants of the special military operation.
The Republic of Tatarstan managed to take second place in the medal standings among Russian regions, winning 69 medals:
56 in the main competencies, including 31 gold, 10 silver, 15 bronze;
1 bronze medal in the presentation competency "Master of Haute Cuisine";
1 gold medal in the International Open Competition in the competency "Industrial Robotics";
11 medals in the Championship among participants of the special military operation, including 4 gold and 7 silver.
In addition, the Republic of Tatarstan was awarded for its contribution to the development of the "Abilympics" movement in terms of organizing and holding the first Championship of professional skills among participants of the special military operation "Abilympics".
The leader was Moscow with 101 medals, third place was taken by Saint Petersburg (45 medals).
In total, 450 people became winners of the national championship; they received certificates for additional education and professional training, as well as for the purchase of specialized technical rehabilitation equipment.
Among participants from foreign countries, first place went to Belarus, second to Azerbaijan, third to Qatar.
The solemn closing ceremony took place at the Timiryazev Center training and exhibition complex in Moscow. For championship guests, cultural and career-guidance events, master classes, sports competitions and an exhibition were organized.
In 2025 the championship is held under the motto "No limit — act boldly!". The "Abilympics" championship is held within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children".
