      A resident of Nizhnekamsk, a veteran of the special military operation Artur Barabanov, won gold in the "Fitting (metalworking)" competence at the National Championship of Professional Competences "Abilympics."

      This was reported on his MAX channel by State Duma deputy Aidar Metshin. The parliamentarian noted the contribution of the mentors and experts who prepared the team for the all-Russian competitions.

      "A special, huge thanks goes to the mentors! Tatiana Adislavovna Kupriyanova, director of the Nizhnekamsk Polytechnic College named after E.N. Korolyov, made a huge contribution both to the preparation of our Artur and to the preparation of other participants. Everyone helped as one community — the CEO of the management company, Farit Aflatunov, supported the purchase of equipment! This is, without a doubt, an example of teamwork and dedication to the cause, of support and mutual assistance," noted the State Duma deputy.

      Earlier, Artur Barabanov became the triumphant winner of the first championship among participants of the special military operation in Tatarstan.

      Also, two more participants of the SVO championship were trained at Nizhnekamsk educational institutions. In the "Welding Technologies" competence, Sergey Nikishin from Yelabuga, who trained at the College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining, won silver. In "Industrial Robotics," silver also went to Evgeny Matrosov from Kamskoye Ustye, with whom mentors from the "Quantorium" technopark worked.

      In total, representatives of Nizhnekamsk won 4 golds, 4 silvers and 3 golds.
