"Our strength is mutual assistance": a marathon of good deeds for the families of servicemen taking part in the special military operation has begun in the Republic of Tatarstan.

      From November 17 to 23, Tatarstan, as well as the rest of the country, will host the "Marathon of Good Deeds" campaign. It is being organized by the Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland to mark its three-year anniversary. The marathon's goal is to support the families of participants in the special military operation (SMO).

      A whole week of useful and important events is planned in Tatarstan for this purpose:

      - Today there will be a meeting with students of TISBI University to talk about patriotism and assistance to military families;

      - On November 18 there will be a visit to the Kazan military hospital, where gifts and words of support will be delivered to wounded soldiers;

      - On November 19 a trip to Almetyevsk is planned to provide legal and psychological assistance to families of SMO participants;

      - On November 20 a humanitarian shipment for the fighters will be sent;

      - On November 21 a round table will be held where specialists will discuss how best to help children from military families;

      - On November 22 the "PRAVOmobile of the Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland" will operate — lawyers will provide free consultations to families on any issues;

      - On November 23 the final event "From Heart to Heart" will take place with a performance of a patriotic play.

      "The Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland is made up of women and men with big hearts who find the strength and opportunity to help those in need. We provide legal, social and psychological assistance, and also help organize cultural and patriotic events. The Committee is a force of mutual aid, support and faith in our warriors. The main goal is for our husbands, sons and brothers to feel secure about their families. For them to know that here at home their loved ones will not be left alone with difficulties," said Angelina Galimova, head of the Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      She shared that over the entire existence of the organization more than 150 tons of humanitarian cargo have been sent to the front: vehicles, drones, medicines, food and household items. With the establishment of the headquarters, regular work began on producing dry showers for fighters at the front, weaving camouflage nets, and making entirely natural vitamin tea. "We understand that it is impossible to help everyone at once, so we deliberately support those units from which we receive requests — we provide both basic necessities and special communications equipment," Galimova added.
