The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Arab Republic of Egypt.
A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan paid a working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. It included assistant to the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Gatin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov, and heads of large agro-industrial enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the trip, Rustem Gainullov met with the management of the agricultural development holding company Quesna and with representatives of the Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries.
At the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Cairo, the deputy minister took part in Marat Gatin’s meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Georgy Borisenko.
Rustem Gainullov also visited the pavilion of JSC Russian Export Center. There the deputy minister met with potential buyers of cereals and oil-and-fat products. He emphasized that last year sunflower oil worth USD 4.9 million was exported.
At the end of the working visit, contracts and agreements were signed, including the signing of a protocol following negotiations between the agricultural development holding company Quesna and the Fund for the Promotion of Strategic Dialogue and Partnership in Support of the National Project “Export.”
