      The event, conducted by librarian Elvira Arkhipova, was dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance and aimed at forming in children a correct understanding of this important human quality. During the meeting, the pupils learned about the history and the philosophical meaning of the concept of "tolerance." The key topic of discussion was the practical side of the matter: how to apply the principles of mutual respect and empathy in everyday life — in interactions with classmates, parents and teachers. Emphasis was placed on developing the ability to accept the individuality of other people, regardless of their origin, views and characteristics.

      To reinforce the material, the organizers prepared a special exhibition "Tolerance on the Bookshelf." It featured literary works that, through artistic images, teach children kindness, peaceful conflict resolution and an understanding of the diversity of the world around them.
