      Tatarstan took third place among Russia’s regions in the volume of procurements from small and medium-sized enterprises. The monitoring data of state and municipal procurements for the third quarter of 2025 from the Russian Ministry of Finance were presented to deputies by Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Procurement.

      “Tatarstan not only ranks among the top three in the volume of purchases from small and medium-sized businesses, but also demonstrates high efficiency in the use of electronic procedures, which significantly increases the transparency and competitiveness of the procurement process in the region,” he said at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Committee on Economics, Investment and Entrepreneurship.

      The leader in procurement volume from SMEs was Moscow (more than 1.7 trillion rubles), in second place — St. Petersburg (559.1 billion rubles), in third — Tatarstan (462.4 billion rubles), in fourth — Moscow Region (309.3 billion rubles), in fifth — Sverdlovsk Region (203.7 billion rubles).
