      The All-Russian Municipal Award "Service", established by President Vladimir Putin in 2023, continues to attract the attention of municipal specialists from across the country. During the application period for the third annual award, the number of applications exceeded 48,000, which testifies to high engagement and teamwork among representative bodies of power. Applications from the regions of Donbas and Novorossiya are especially active: more than 800 applications were received from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. The most popular categories among participants are "A Great Heritage for Future Generations," "Territorial Development — Residents’ Welfare," and "Each Person’s Initiative — A Shared Success." More than a thousand applications came from young specialists aged 18–24. The oldest participant is a 92-year-old municipal deputy from Nalchik.

      The "Service" award includes ten categories, among them: "Courage and Heroism for the Sake of Serving the Motherland," "Family Well-Being — a State Priority," "Territorial Development — Residents’ Welfare," "Dialogue with the Population — Government Transparency," and others. The aim of the award is to recognize the merits of municipal employees and to stimulate the development of municipal governance.

      The winners’ award ceremony is scheduled for April 2026 as part of the III All-Russian Municipal Forum "SMALL HOMELAND — THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA." The organizer is the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU), and support is provided by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. The Chairman of the Award’s Supervisory Board is the First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration, Sergey Kiriyenko.
