      At the congress on the demographic potential of Kazan and Tatarstan, the director of the Research Institute of Health Architecture, Chulpan Ildarkhanova, reported on life expectancy forecasts for the region.

      The republic is experiencing population growth, especially in cities. As of the end of 2023, despite an overall natural decline, the urban environment showed an increase, with Kazan outpacing Moscow in growth rates.
