      The major repair programs for social and cultural facilities being carried out in Tatarstan this year are almost completely finished. This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the republic, Damir Shaidullin, at a meeting chaired by the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the press service of the Head of the Republic reports. In the discussion, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin, and heads of municipal districts who joined by videoconference also took part. According to the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, of 34 major-repair programs for social and cultural facilities, 33 have been fully completed. One program remains unfinished, related to the repair of medical inpatient facilities — within it work continues on three out of 19 sites. The current completion level is 93%. Over the past two weeks two inpatient facilities have been delivered — in the Sabinsky district and Kazan. The program to construct 27 cultural facilities has been fully implemented — in the past two weeks work was completed on two sites in the Kukmorsky district and one in Kazan. A facility in the Zelenodolsk district was also commissioned, which made it possible to close the major-repair program for children's health camps. The program of major repairs to apartment buildings is also continuing. In 2025 it covers 911 buildings in 42 municipal formations, with an overall completion level of 98%. Work has been fully completed in 33 municipalities. Over the past two weeks contractors have handed over 40 buildings in 13 districts, and in total to date — 798 properties. Most municipal formations have already received certificates of readiness for the heating season. The exceptions are Kazan and the Aznakaevo district, where comments from Rostechnadzor need to be addressed.
