      The justice of the peace of the Yelabuga judicial district discontinued the criminal case against a minor accused of causing moderate bodily harm.

      The justice of the peace of judicial precinct No. 4 of the Yelabuga district discontinued the criminal case against the minor X., who was accused under Part 1 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm). This was reported by the press service of the Yelabuga City Court.

      According to the investigation, on February 4, 2025, during a conflict in an apartment on Okruzhnoe Shosse Street, the teenager struck another minor once in the face with his fist. As a result, the victim suffered a health disorder lasting more than three weeks.

      At the court hearing the victim and his legal representative filed a motion to discontinue the case, stating that the parties had reconciled. The defendant apologized and compensated the damage caused.

      The court granted the motion, having found no obstacles to discontinuing the case. The decision entered into legal force and was not appealed.
