      The increase in operational efficiency was achieved through the optimization of administrative procedures. As explained by the Committee for the Consumer Market of the Kazan Executive Committee, the dismantling of objects is now carried out immediately after receiving the municipal land control report, without prior notification to the owners.

      An additional effect is provided by the recovery of costs for dismantling and storing the structures — more than 3 million rubles have already been transferred to the city budget. Currently, a placement scheme for 691 year-round trading points has been approved in Kazan, and 449 contracts have been signed with entrepreneurs.

      There is a steady trend of a reduction in the number of non-stationary trading facilities due to the development of the network of stationary retail enterprises. Over the past six years, 1,758 illegal structures have been dismantled in the city.
