More than 100 veterans of the special military operation have been employed in Tatarstan.

      Over the past months, more than a hundred participants of the special military operation have been employed through Tatarstan’s personnel service thanks to the active work of local Employment Centers.

      According to data from the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, since January 2025 about 154 SMO veterans have sought help in finding work, of whom 102 people were successfully employed. Another five participants started their own businesses, and the rest are undergoing professional retraining courses. "We have created a comprehensive support program for our heroes, providing each with a personal career consultant who accompanies the entire employment process — from preparing a resume to attending an interview," agency representatives clarified.

      SMO participants are mainly employed at the region’s industrial enterprises, holding positions as automated line operators, drivers, employees of oil and gas production companies, welders and electric-gas welders. Those who want to change professions have access to free vocational training through eight educational programs on the "Work of Russia" portal.

      The program is being implemented within the federal project "Personnel", aimed at improving the quality of labor integration and developing Russians’ professional competencies. These measures contribute to the effective inclusion of veterans into Tatarstan’s socio-economic potential.

      The press service of the Ministry of Labour of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasizes the importance of such support, underlining the contribution of regional authorities to solving the issue of providing decent jobs for former servicemen.
