      The State Council of Tatarstan at its 17th session supported a bill granting tax benefits to residents of the special economic zone "Green Valley." The initiative is intended to ensure equal business conditions for all special zones of the republic.

      According to the draft law, residents of "Green Valley" will be able to use a transport tax exemption for ten years. They will also be subject to a reduced profit tax rate: 0% for the first five years after receiving their first profit, 5% from the sixth through the tenth year, and 13.5% after ten years of operation.

      At present, similar preferences have already been granted to residents of the SEZs "Alabuga" and "Innopolis." The expansion of benefits to "Green Valley" is aimed at increasing the investment attractiveness of the zone and stimulating economic growth in the corresponding sector.

      It should be recalled that by 2027 it is planned to build the necessary infrastructure for the new SEZ. 2.5 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes, according to the draft resolution of the Government of Russia.
