The Central Election Commission of Tatarstan summed up the results of 2025.

      Professional organization of the election campaign for the elections of deputies to the State Duma of Russia will become one of the most important priorities in the work of the system of electoral commissions of Tatarstan in the coming year. This was stated at the 116th meeting of the Central Election Commission of the republic by the head of the Tatarstan CEC, Andrey Kondratyev.

      Summing up the year, he noted the utmost importance of the election campaigns held in the republic. In 2025, elections for the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan were held, and more than 7.5 thousand deputies of representative bodies of local self-government were elected.

      Among the main innovations in the process of organizing and conducting the elections was the Information Center "Tochka vybora" ("Point of Choice"), opened on the Kremlin Embankment in Kazan. It operated throughout the active phase of the election campaign and played a crucial role in covering the elections. The decision to open five extraterritorial polling stations in the combat zone and in the capital of our Motherland — Moscow — also proved fully justified.

      The main conclusion of the work done is that the elections were held calmly, without conflict, and without critical remarks.

      "In the new year we face a major federal campaign. The Duma elections are a field of open competition for all political forces. This campaign will demand from us the highest level of professional preparation and the coordinated work of all members of the election commissions of the republic. I am confident that, through our joint efforts, we will successfully solve the tasks before us," said Andrey Kondratyev.

      At the CEC meeting, an agreement on cooperation during the preparation and conduct of the election campaign for the elections of deputies to the State Duma in 2026 was signed between the CEC of Tatarstan and the Public Chamber of the republic. The significant document was signed by Andrey Kondratyev and Zilya Valeeva.

      "Public oversight of the elections of deputies to the State Duma in 2026 is a most important condition for conducting a fair and honest election campaign. It is precisely thanks to the efforts of public observers that independent monitoring of voting can be ensured and citizens' trust in the election results increased. The document signed today will make an important contribution to this work," said Zilya Valeeva, Chair of the Public Chamber of Tatarstan.

      Members of Tatarstan's election commissions were recognized for the successful election campaigns held in 2025. Among them were the heads of territorial election commissions — finalists of the annual competition for the best organization of the work of territorial election commissions: the Territorial Election Commission (TEC) of the city of Zelenodolsk — diploma of the first degree; the TEC of Yelabuga District — diploma of the second degree; the TEC of the Komsomolsky District of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny — diploma of the third degree.
