      Activists of the Zelenodolsk local branch of the Young Guard of United Russia, with the support of city council deputy Ilmira Fatykhova, organized a quiz timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was held for first-year students of the medical college. The students learned about historical events of the Great Patriotic War and about notable actions within the framework of the special military operation, and they also answered questions about the feats of Soviet and Russian soldiers and civilians.

      “This event was an excellent opportunity for the younger generation to strengthen their knowledge. Such initiatives help young people better understand historical lessons, preserve the memory of the great Victory, and the continuity of generations,” Ilmira Fatykhova shared.

      The Young Guard activists assured that they will continue to hold events aimed at developing civic responsibility among young people.

      Another activity in which volunteers and college students took part was clearing snow from the medical college grounds.

      “Thanks to the efforts of students and activists, the college grounds have become safer and tidier. This practice shows that even small, friendly joint actions can be important for the city and the educational institution,” said Simeon Mirganiev, head of the local branch of the Young Guard of United Russia.
