In Tatarstan, from January 1, 2026, the maximum permissible fee for vehicle inspections will be increased. The decree was signed by the republic’s Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
According to the document, from January 1, 2026 the maximum cost of an inspection (excluding VAT) will be:
Passenger cars (M1) — 1,202 rubles instead of 1,098;
Small buses (M2) — 2,058 rubles instead of 1,879;
Buses (M3) — 2,486 rubles instead of 2,270;
Vans (N1) — 1,315 rubles instead of 1,201;
Medium vans (N2) — 2,398 rubles instead of 2,189;
Trucks (N3) — 2,588 rubles instead of 2,363;
Trailers of categories O1 and O2 — 992 rubles instead of 906;
Trailers of categories O3 and O4 — 1,675 rubles instead of 1,530;
Motor transport (L) — 422 rubles instead of 386.
On average, the cost of vehicle inspection increased by 9.5%. The rise also affected the fee for inspecting special operational-service vehicles, tankers for transporting petroleum products and liquefied gas, passenger-transport vans, vehicles for transporting hazardous goods, municipal utility machinery, urban ground electric transport and other categories of vehicles.
