Today, December 27, the Ak Bars sports complex in Nurlat became a focal point for all fans of winter sports.
A bright and well-attended opening of the ski season took place here. More than 200 people, true skiing enthusiasts and amateurs, came to the sporting celebration to be the first to break trail on the fresh snow. 103 athletes of various age categories took part in the official races, highlighting the popularity of this sport in the district.
The ceremonial part was opened by Alfia Galautdinova, acting deputy head of the executive committee of Nurlat District. She warmly greeted participants and spectators, noting the importance of such events for promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle among residents of all ages.
Particular delight was caused by the youngest participants of the celebration — Agniya Gavrilova and Artyom Taymullin. Their participation became a heartening symbol that skiing traditions in Nurlat have a future.
The season opening was held at a high organizational level, giving everyone present a boost of vigor, great spirits, and sporting enthusiasm. This event provided a confident start to the winter sporting life in the Nurlat district.
Athletes from other localities of the republic also took part in the opening of the ski season in Nurlat, for example from Nizhnekamsk, Aksubayevo, Cheremshan, as well as the village of Chelno-Vershiny in the Samara Region and even Langepas.
