Welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse: residents of Nurlat gathered for a celebration in the city center.

      Mass festivities, a concert and congratulations from the head of the district were held on the central square of Nurlat, setting a bright tone for the year ahead.

      On New Year's Eve the people of Nurlat traditionally gathered on the city's central square, where a festive program had been organized. Residents and guests came out here with their whole families to see off the old year together and enter the new one with optimism. The celebration opened with a festive concert featuring the district's best creative ensembles. Performers sang beloved, cheerful and energetic songs for the audience, and interactive games and contests put both children and adults in a great mood.

      With warm congratulatory words, Damir Ishkineev, head of the Nurlat District, addressed those gathered. He thanked all Nurlat residents for their unity, hard work and contribution to the development of their native district. The head expressed special gratitude to the participants of the special military operation who are spending the holiday at the front, as well as to volunteers whose work has become an example of compassion and support.

      "The coming year of the Red Fire Horse carries a special symbolism for Nurlat," noted Damir Ishkineev. "After all, the symbol of our city is a radiant horse. May this strong and noble talisman bring energy, luck, stability and prosperity to every home. I believe that together we will make our lives even better."

      After the official part the celebration continued with public festivities. The square filled with music and laughter: adults and children happily rode sleds, danced and shared joyful wishes with one another.
