According to the results for 2025, inspectors of the Department of State Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded 1,561 violations of environmental legislation. As part of preventive work, more than 1,100 official warnings were issued and 262 consultations were held to explain requirements to enterprises. Jointly with law enforcement agencies, the ministry continues efforts to bring violators to account. Over the year the agency prepared 178 claims totaling 97.8 million rubles, of which 102 claims for 53.8 million rubles have already been submitted to the courts. Special attention was paid to combating illegal extraction of minerals, licensing violations, and unauthorized waste disposal.
Based on the analysis, unscheduled inspections were agreed upon and carried out at facilities designated as zones of increased environmental risk.
For the coming year, inspectors have set new objectives. They plan to strengthen preventive work to prevent violations, improve the registry of enterprises that have a negative impact on the environment, continue developing the agency’s digital platform, and strengthen cooperation with prosecutor’s offices.
