In Kazan one of the working days at the building of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan almost went awry — a man in a state of heavy alcohol intoxication attempted to gain entry. This was reported by the Russian Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.
The bailiffs’ attention was immediately drawn to the visitor’s unsteady gait, the strong smell of alcohol and his clearly inappropriate behavior. When asked directly whether he had been drinking, the man did not deny it, but he categorically refused to leave the building, insisting on his participation in the court hearing.
When the bailiffs lawfully demanded that the intruder leave, he ignored their instructions. In response, an administrative report was drawn up against the man for disobeying a lawful order of an officer. But the incident did not end there: during the paperwork the troublemaker went further — he deliberately tore up the report, thereby adding another offense to his “record.” Not stopping there, the visitor began loudly swearing, grossly disturbing public order and otherwise interfering with the normal work of the court. To take control of the situation, a unit of the National Guard (Rosgvardiya) had to be called. Law enforcement officers took the man away for further proceedings and drew up another report — this time for petty hooliganism.
The Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan reminded that appearing in court buildings while intoxicated is strictly prohibited.
