The decree on his appointment was signed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on January 6, sources at BUSINESS Online report. Dzyonik served prior to his appointment in Tatarstan at the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation as head of the Department of Personnel Management and Educational Work. The university has already removed his biography page from its website. The Interior Ministry in Tatarstan has not yet commented on the appointment; there is no official announcement.
