      U.S. President Donald Trump said that Cuba will no longer receive oil and money from Venezuela. On his social network Truth Social he also stressed that the U.S. now protects Venezuela and will not allow aid to Cuba.

      “Now Venezuela has the United States of America — the most powerful army in the world — to protect it, and we will do that. No oil and no money will be going to Cuba anymore. Zero. I strongly recommend they make a deal before it’s too late,” Trump wrote.

      The American leader also commented on rapper Clifford Smith’s post on X, which suggested that Marco Rubio could become president of Cuba. Trump said he liked the idea.

      After the special operation to seize Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Donald Trump began making statements directed at several countries. He noted that he is monitoring the situation in at least five states and intends to “put things in order” there. Cuba, Trump said, could become “the next topic for discussion,” although he is not yet sure whether active measures are necessary.
