The "Network Company" explained the outage by strong smoke at the "Savinovo" substation. A similar emergency with the power grid in the region was also observed in June. At that time, residents in Naberezhnye Chelny faced similar problems. The day before, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan" issued a statement warning all residents of the republic that a storm warning had been declared in the region. This decision, as specified in the text of the message, was made due to strong gusts of wind, thunderstorms, and rain approaching the region.
