       Several people were preparing pilaf on a gas stove that was running on a gas cylinder. During the cooking process, there was a gas leak, which caused the gas-air mixture to ignite without subsequent combustion.

       In Naberezhnye Chelny, a gas cylinder exploded at the moment when several people were preparing pilaf. As a result of the incident, five people were injured. The incident occurred in the garage construction cooperative "Gudok" on Kazansky Avenue, reports "Tatar-Inform". According to the official statement from EMERCOM of Russia in Tatarstan, during cooking on the gas stove, a gas-air mixture ignited due to a leak from the gas cylinder without subsequent combustion. It is noted that there was no structural damage, and emergency services did not respond to the scene as no report was received. All the injured individuals sought medical attention at the emergency hospital in Naberezhnye Chelny on their own. According to rescuers, one of the five injured is in serious condition with a head injury. Four people suffered burns and have moderate injuries. A notable aspect of the incident was that the ignition of the gas-air mixture did not transition into stable combustion, which prevented more serious consequences and a possible fire. The incident occurred in garage No. 10 of the "Gudok" cooperative, where the owners used gas equipment for household needs. Earlier, EMERCOM reported the death of a man as a result of a fire in Kazan. The fire occurred in a separate one-story brick bathhouse. It was previously reported that customs officers at Kazan airport intercepted an attempt to smuggle a large batch of products made from the skins of rare reptiles. A passenger on a flight from Istanbul intended to bring in wallets, purses, and women's bags made from the skins of rare reptiles.
