The consumer basket for the specified amount includes 83 items: 30 types of food products, 41 items from the non-food goods group, and 12 types of services. According to updated data from Rosstat, the cost of a fixed set of consumer goods and services in Tatarstan has reached 22,217 rubles, which is 6.9% higher than the figure from December of last year, reports the portal "Real Time." In the overall ranking of regions in the Volga Federal District, Tatarstan ranks fifth in terms of the cost of the consumer basket. The most affordable set of goods and services was recorded in the Saratov region (21,633 rubles), while the most expensive was in the Perm region (25,128 rubles). According to the agency's data, inflation in Tatarstan noticeably accelerated in September. The overall consumer price index rose by 0.8% compared to August, while the cost of food products increased by 0.4%. At the same time, the pricing for services rose by 0.8%, and non-food goods became 1% more expensive. For example, in September, Tatarstanstat calculated that from September 8 to 15, the price of a kilogram of tomatoes increased by 6.4%, cucumbers by 4.4%, bananas by 4.4%, and apples by almost 1%. According to Rosstat, the highest price increases were noted for gasoline, knitwear, and certain construction materials. Annual inflation in Tatarstan reached 8.76%, significantly exceeding the average Russian figure (7.98%). This indicates a sustained inflationary pressure in the republic, despite the nationwide trend of slowing price growth. It was previously reported that residents of Kazan have been visiting and spending more money in restaurants: the average bill in the city's establishments increased by 11% to 2,217 rubles, and the number of purchases rose by 9%.
