Expert market analysis showed that over the past year, the total rental cost of housing across the country has increased on average by 5 to 15% – depending on the region.

The Russian rental housing market demonstrates contradictory dynamics: while the overall trend of rising prices remains, the pace of price growth has noticeably slowed. According to "Izvestia," over the past year, rental prices have increased by 5–15% depending on the region, which is significantly more modest than the figures of previous years. However, against the backdrop of overall stabilization, several Russian cities, including Kazan, have set real anti-records. Leading the way is Moscow with a historical maximum of 115 thousand rubles for an average apartment with a minimum rate starting from 44 thousand rubles (this is the maximum in the last 30 years). Next is St. Petersburg, which showed a 5% increase to 42.7 thousand rubles for a one-bedroom apartment. Kazan has solidified its position in the top 5 cities for the cost of rental housing. In the capital of Tatarstan, the average rental price for an apartment is 36.4 thousand rubles. Meanwhile, in most regions, prices have stabilized or even slightly decreased. For example, the most affordable housing is offered in Voronezh (22.4 thousand), Volgograd (22.7 thousand), and Omsk (23.9 thousand). As previously reported by Rosstat, the cost of a fixed set of consumer goods and services in Tatarstan reached 22,217 rubles.
