Almost 200 children from Tatarstan celebrated the New Year on the Black Sea coast.
On the Black Sea coast, the New Year profile shift "Ofik. Kyslau" has concluded at the youth center "Sälät – Ak Bars." From December 27 to January 7, 240 children from Tatarstan, Crimea, Krasnodar, Moscow, and Ufa participated in the shift. This winter, Crimea surprised everyone with abundant snow – for the first time in 15 years, the coast was covered with a true winter wonder, turning the camp into a living New Year decoration. The program of the shift was characterized by its richness and innovation. For the first time, a system for forming squads by age was implemented, allowing organizers to take into account the individual characteristics of each child. The educational block included classes in graphic design, theater arts, English and Chinese languages, as well as a climbing wall and a creative laboratory for modern crafts. Thematic master classes were very popular: creating author’s Christmas tree decorations, face painting, and basics of social media promotion. Special attention was paid to health improvement: each morning began with breathing exercises in the fresh sea air. The camp director Kira Maslova noted that this New Year shift was truly magical and unforgettable. "This time, the counselors prepared a special evening program for the participants, full of surprises and warmth. All the children were thrilled and repeatedly said that this was the most heartfelt and warmest shift, despite the winter weather. Seeing the shining eyes of the kids is the best reward for our team," she shared. The youth center "Sälät – Ak Bars" is a year-round educational and health center under the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The camp base has been open since July 5, 2022, in the village of Foros with the support of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The center announced a spring profile shift "Ofik. Yazmysh," which will take place from March 28 to April 4. Talented children from Tatarstan will be able to spend their spring break in an atmosphere of friendship, creativity, leadership, and exam preparation.
