      In Kazan, a driver of a "KAMAZ" was detained for dumping snow in the specially protected natural area "Savinovo." Employees of the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan, together with the police, detained the unscrupulous carrier, who now faces a fine. The violation became known thanks to a local resident who reported the offense to the official Telegram channel of the district administration. Witnesses managed to document the violation with photos and videos before the inspectors arrived. Police officers were called to the scene, who, together with the administration employees of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan, detained the offender. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver for violating the city's landscaping rules. The collected snow can be transported either to a snow melting station or stored in specially prepared places agreed upon with the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Subsequently, these areas are cleared of snow and debris to minimize harm to the environment. In this case, the area was not only unprepared – it is itself specially protected due to its rare flora and fauna. The vehicle of the "gray carrier" was seized and taken to a specialized parking lot. According to the press service of the administration, the driver admitted during questioning that he violated the rules to save money. This winter season, in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts, this is already the third identified case of unauthorized snow dumping. Violating the rules of landscaping areas entails administrative responsibility. Protocols are drawn up under the article concerning violations of municipal landscaping rules and waste management. For individuals, a warning or a fine of 2,000 to 3,500 rubles is provided. For officials, fines range from 15,000 to 30,000 rubles, and for legal entities - from 200,000 to 500,000 rubles.
