The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan provided clarifications regarding the publication of information about court cases on the internet.

      The published information is stored indefinitely and is not subject to deletion. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan informs citizens that information about court proceedings involving them is subject to mandatory publication on official information resources. This requirement is established by federal legislation, in particular, the law of December 22, 2008, No. 262-FZ "On Ensuring Access to Information about the Activities of Courts in the Russian Federation" and the Resolution of the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated December 13, 2012, No. 35, which states that information about cases considered by magistrates must be mandatorily placed on the Official Portal of Magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the head of the department for organizational and legal support of the activities of magistrates, Yulia Mikhailova, the Portal of Magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan publishes registration numbers of cases, their titles, the subject of the dispute, information about the participants in the process, and information about the issuance of judicial acts.

      Exceptions are made for court orders, as they do not belong to the judicial acts necessary for mandatory placement on the Internet (according to Article 15 of this Federal Law), as well as acts containing information affecting state security, the interests of minors, family law relations, or decisions on hospitalization. The published information is stored indefinitely and is not subject to deletion. The Ministry of Justice emphasizes that the agency is obliged to act strictly within the framework of the law and has no right to selective placement or deletion of data, despite requests from citizens. In this regard, residents of the republic are reminded of the inevitability of public disclosure of court proceedings as one of the consequences of violating the law.
