      The librarians of the Zainsk Central Library organized a program "And again January, and again the Day of Tatiana," where history intertwined with humor, contests, and useful advice.

      The Day of Tatiana was celebrated with grandeur: how first-year students of the Zainsk Polytechnic College immersed themselves in student life. At the Zainsk Polytechnic College, there was an atmosphere of celebration and true student brotherhood. A literary and educational program "And again January, and again the Day of Tatiana" was organized for first-year students, timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Students. The event, prepared by the specialists of the Zainsk Central Library, became a bright start for the newly minted students.

      From the history of the holiday to student slang. The program began with a deep dive into the origins of the holiday. Talented librarians told about the history of Student's Day, related to the signing by Empress Elizabeth Petrovna of the decree establishing Moscow University. This created an important cultural context.

      The audience showed particular interest in the discussion of the very word "STUDENT." The students, together with the hosts, analyzed its meaning, which helped them realize their new role. To lift the mood, everyone watched a clip from the cult student comedy "Operation Y and Other Shurik's Adventures."

      Modern reality was also not overlooked. To adapt to the new environment, the librarians prepared a presentation on youth slang, which sparked lively responses and discussions.

      Contests, traditions, and collective creativity. The educational part smoothly transitioned into a series of exciting contests and quizzes. First-year students were able to demonstrate not only their knowledge but also their ingenuity and sense of humor. During the event, students discussed practical tips for successful studying and adaptation, as well as the importance of preserving student traditions.

      The culmination of the holiday was the creation of a collective portrait of Tatiana — the symbol of the holiday. The program concluded with a cheerful fairy-tale improvisation, which gave all participants a storm of positive emotions and universal delight.

      Results: a boost of mood for the entire academic year. The event for Student's Day at the Zainsk Polytechnic College fulfilled all its objectives: it was simultaneously educational, entertaining, and unifying. First-year students not only learned more about the history of their holiday but also received a powerful boost of energy and excellent mood, which will undoubtedly help them in their further studies.
