      In memory of Tikhon Ivanovich Nikitin. Together with his wife Maria Alexandrovna, he created a special world in the rural school where every child felt important and loved. On November 25, 2025, the former director of the Zainsk Machine Engineering College, Tikhon Ivanovich Nikitin, passed away. In the distant year of 1963, he arrived in the village of Basar as the director of an eight-year school and taught physics and mathematics. In addition to the core subjects, Tikhon Ivanovich taught students rifle shooting and instilled a love for skiing. His wife, Maria Alexandrovna, taught Russian language and literature lessons and led the singing club. Possessing a delicate, pure voice, she created a school choir that performed at all celebrations. Their lives were intertwined by pedagogy and school. The Nikitins met at the Ursaev School, where Tikhon Ivanovich was the director, and Maria Alexandrovna was a teacher of Russian language and literature. Together, the Nikitins had a combined teaching experience of 90 years. "They were very kind, gentle, and never raised their voices at the students, treating them like their own children. Everyone loved and respected the Nikitin couple. They spared neither effort nor time for the upbringing of rural children. This is how we remember them and will remember them as long as we live," share the memories of the graduates of Basar School of 1965, V. Usachev, A. Gusev, A. Volkova, V. Motin, and L. Samokhodkina.
