It is planned that in 2026 the republic will continue to provide continuous blood sugar monitoring systems for pregnant women and children with type 1 diabetes.
The Republic of Tatarstan will continue the implementation of a program to provide continuous glucose monitoring systems for two categories of patients: pregnant women with diabetes and children with type 1 diabetes. This was reported by "Tatar-inform," citing data from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the agency, 19.7 million rubles are allocated for the procurement of necessary systems for pregnant women. The majority of this amount – 14.4 million rubles – is planned to come from the federal budget, while the remaining 5.3 million rubles will be added from the republican treasury. The largest volume of funds will be directed to support children aged two to 17 years with type 1 diabetes. For them, 69.7 million rubles are allocated for the purchase of monitoring systems, where the share of federal funding will be 50.9 million, and from the republican budget – 18.8 million rubles. The message states that at the regional level, an agreement has already been concluded with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, which provides for federal funding. It is noted that the work to provide patients with continuous glucose monitoring systems is being implemented as part of the federal project "Fight Against Diabetes," which is part of the national project "Long and Active Life."
