      The holy month of Ramadan in the Republic of Tatarstan took place under the auspices of the annual charitable marathon "Ramadan - the month of good deeds." The traditional campaign, initiated from the first day of the holy month by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, is aimed at supporting those in need. This year, as part of the marathon, the Charity Fund "Zakat" of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan paid for treatment and rehabilitation courses for 48 seriously ill children with severe diagnoses and provided financial assistance to 55 adults. The Fund also provided material support to mosques and madrasahs: assistance in the amount of 1 million rubles was allocated to the madrasah "Muhammadiya"; seven mosques and madrasahs received funds totaling 764 thousand rubles. All funds to the aforementioned recipients, totaling 9 million 922 thousand rubles, were transferred from targeted collections, from zakat al-fitr and fidya. Through remote money transfer channels, the Charity Fund "Zakat" received 2,189,221.39 rubles in fitr-sadaqa and 1,252,007.09 rubles in fidya-sadaqa. Another important direction of the charitable marathon was providing food assistance to needy families in Tatarstan. Unique one-time charitable events also took place during Ramadan: a free haircut was organized for 10 children from large and low-income families, as well as for children with disabilities at the barbershop "Eget." On February 27, in Kazan, for the fifth time in honor of the holy month of Ramadan, a charitable route No. 30 was in operation. The choice of this route was not accidental: it is one of the longest and has a high passenger flow, and its passengers often include beneficiaries of the Fund. This year, 1,200 passengers traveled on the free bus.

      Thus, in 2026, a total of 3,113 needy individuals received assistance from the "Zakat" Fund as part of the charitable marathon "Ramadan - the month of good deeds."
