During the spring flood, several dozen delivery areas of post offices in different settlements of the republic may be at risk of flooding. If the flood situation worsens, employees of Russian Post will deliver pensions and social payments to the residents there ahead of schedule. In preparation for the flood, "Tatarstan Post" collaborated with the rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region and the administrations of municipal entities. For emergency situations, postal workers selected options for temporarily relocating post offices to other buildings. Drivers and postal workers received up-to-date information about detour routes for temporarily flooded roads, and employees of post offices underwent evacuation training. "During the flood period, postal services will be available to all residents of the region, wherever they live. Our employees have repeatedly had to deliver correspondence, social payments, food, and goods in difficult situations. This year, we have also thoroughly prepared for work under 'high water' conditions," noted the director of the republican branch of Russian Post, Ilnur Makhmutov.
