Starting from April 1, 2026, the SFR Department for the Republic of Tatarstan indexed the state pension provision by 6.8% for more than 85.7 thousand residents of the region.

      The Social Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan will proactively increase pensions under state provision, including social pensions, which are indexed annually in April. Residents of Tatarstan will not need to apply or submit any requests for this. The increased payments will be delivered according to the usual schedule. The level of indexing is determined based on the growth of the minimum subsistence level for pensioners over the past year and will amount to 6.8%. "The automation of indexing has eliminated the human factor and queues at client services. Hundreds of thousands of recalculations are now performed in a matter of days in a centralized manner. This is a colossal saving of resources — both for us and for the pensioners themselves. At the same time, the accuracy of calculations remains absolute, and the timing of payments remains unchanged," emphasized the head of the OSFR for the Republic of Tatarstan, Eduard Vafin. Most pensioners for whom indexing will take place in April receive payments due to disability and loss of breadwinner. In addition, pensions for participants of the Great Patriotic War and those awarded the "Resident of Blockaded Leningrad," "Resident of Besieged Sevastopol," and "Resident of Besieged Stalingrad" will also be indexed. The increase also applies to military personnel who served on conscription, citizens exposed to radiation, test pilots, and some other categories of pensioners. As a result of the indexing, the average pension under state pension provision will increase by more than a thousand rubles and will amount to 16.1 thousand rubles. The average amount of social pension for disabled children will increase by 1.4 thousand rubles, to 22.6 thousand. For first-group disabled individuals from childhood, the monthly pension will increase by 1.4 thousand rubles and will amount to 22.6 thousand rubles. The actual amount of the increase for each recipient will depend on the individual size of the pension. The indexed payments will be delivered to pensioners in April according to the usual delivery schedule. Starting April 1, the Social Fund of the Republic will also increase the care allowance for people aged 80 and first-group disabled individuals. The amount of the allowance after indexing will rise to 1.5 thousand rubles. The Social Fund automatically processes the care allowance for a person's pension and also automatically increases it during indexing. No additional actions are required from pensioners or their caregivers.
