A volleyball tournament for the cup of the Coordination Council of Veterans of Combat Operations was held in the Kaibitsky District.

      The competitions took place at the "Salavat Kuppere" sports complex. The tournament featured teams of boys born in 2008 and younger. The tournament was held for the cup of the coordination council of veterans of combat operations and the community of border guards of the Kaibitsky district. Two teams from the Apastovsky district, the team from Fedorovskaya school, and a combined team from Kaibits participated in the competitions. The event was dedicated to the Year of Military and Labor Valor. The head of the executive committee of the district, Alexey Makarov, welcomed the participants and guests of the tournament. As a result of the tournament, the team of boys born in 2009 from Apastovo won. The second place was taken by the "Typhoon" team from Fedorovsky, the third place went to the team of boys born in 2011 from Apastovo, and the fourth place was taken by the combined team from Kaibits. The winners and prize-winners were awarded a traveling cup, diplomas, and medals.
