The Republic of Tatarstan announces the acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for the awarding of republican scientific prizes to support young scientists in Tatarstan.

      The goals, conditions, and procedure for awarding prizes are defined by the Regulation on the procedure for awarding republican scientific prizes to support young scientists in the Republic of Tatarstan, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated October 26, 2024, No. 926 "On measures of state support for scientific research conducted by young scientists in the Republic of Tatarstan in the most promising and significant areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan." The purpose of awarding prizes: to encourage young scientists for high results in scientific research conducted in the most promising and significant areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan. Competition deadlines. Start date for accepting applications: 8:30 AM on April 1, 2026. End date for accepting applications: 5:00 PM on April 20, 2026. Date of announcement of competition results: no later than June 30, 2026. Requirements for young scientists. Young scientists who meet the following requirements on the day of application submission for the competition are allowed to participate in the Competition: a young scientist - a citizen of the Russian Federation, whose age at the time of application submission does not exceed 35 years, conducting scientific research in the most promising and significant areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan, having published scientific works in peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications reflecting the main scientific results of the young scientist's work, being a graduate student, resident, and/or working in pedagogical, scientific, and scientific-technical positions in scientific organizations, educational organizations of higher education or additional professional education, or in other organizations regardless of ownership and departmental affiliation, located in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan; not listed among organizations and individuals for whom there is information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism; not included in the lists of organizations and individuals compiled in the framework of the powers provided for in Chapter VII of the UN Charter, by the UN Security Council or bodies specifically created by decisions of the UN Security Council, related to terrorist organizations and terrorists or to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction; not being a foreign agent in accordance with Federal Law No. 255-FZ of July 14, 2022 "On control over the activities of persons under foreign influence"; not subject to bankruptcy proceedings in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation; having no overdue debts for the return to the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan of other subsidies, budget investments, as well as other overdue (unresolved) debts on monetary obligations to the Republic of Tatarstan (except in cases established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan); not having received grants from the Republic of Tatarstan for supporting scientific research conducted by young scientists and youth scientific teams in the Republic of Tatarstan, and republican scientific prizes for supporting young scientists in accordance with the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated May 19, 2003, No. 271 "On measures to strengthen state support for young scientists in the Republic of Tatarstan" and dated October 26, 2024, No. 926 "On measures of state support for scientific research conducted by young scientists of the Republic of Tatarstan in the most promising and significant areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan" within three years preceding the year of the competition; having no debts for the payment of taxes, fees, insurance contributions, penalties, fines, interest payable in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees. List of documents submitted by young scientists as part of the application for the competition: To participate in the competition, an application must be submitted, including the following documents: a) application; b) consent to the processing of personal data; c) a presentation of the scientific work, signed and certified in the prescribed manner by the head of the scientific organization, educational organization of higher education, additional professional education, or other organization regardless of ownership and departmental affiliation, located in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the young scientist is a graduate student, resident, and/or works in a pedagogical, scientific, and/or scientific-technical position. The presentation must contain the full name of the scientific work; the surname, first name, patronymic (if available) of the young scientist, information about their scientific contribution, the significance of the scientific work for the most promising areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan; d) information about the author of the scientific work: surname, first name, patronymic (if available), place of work, position held, academic degree (if available), date of birth, home and work address, home and work phone numbers, email address, list of published scientific works, monographs, presentations at scientific conferences involving the author, number and title of grants received with the author's participation, awards; e) a certificate of compliance of the taxpayer (payer of fees, payer of insurance contributions, tax agent) with the obligation to pay taxes, fees, insurance contributions, penalties, fines, interest, provided by the tax authority; f) a list of submitted documents.

      Procedure for submitting applications for the competition and requirements for the documents submitted by young scientists as part of the application for the competition: The application for the competition is prepared in Russian in one copy on paper. The application for the competition must be bound, numbered page by page, and signed by the participant in the competition. A copy of the application (documents with a seal and signature in an uneditable format (.pdf)) on electronic media must be attached to the application for the competition. The application for the competition, along with its copy on electronic media, is placed in an envelope marked "For the competition of republican scientific prizes to support young scientists in the Republic of Tatarstan" and sent to the address: 420111, Kazan, Bauman St., 20, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, office No. 114 (document management and control sector). Applications for the competition are accepted within 20 calendar days after the announcement of the competition is posted on the website. The application for the competition is submitted on a gratuitous and non-refundable basis. Acceptance and registration of applications for the competition are carried out by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan no later than the next working day after their receipt. Serial numbers for applications for the competition received on the same day are assigned taking into account the time of their receipt.
