The Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation discussed the safety and maintenance of elevators.

      At the meeting of the Commission on Elevator Management of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, chaired by Leonid Kazinets, the results of the work for 2025 were discussed. Despite the fact that the year was challenging, the results of the commission's work were impressive: its participants and experts took part in discussions on elevator replacement programs across the country, in the development of regulatory documentation, and in other work aimed at improving the daily lives of millions of Russians living in apartment buildings. Leonid Kazinets briefly outlined the main achievements for 2025. With the participation of the commission, a new financing mechanism was launched: the possibility of writing off 2/3 of the debt volume on budget loans for elevator replacements. Programs for replacing old elevators by 2030 have been developed in 79 regions of the Russian Federation. A working group on elevator equipment replacement has been established under the Ministry of Construction. Methods for attracting additional investments for elevator replacements have been considered. Regulatory documentation on the effective operation of elevators in apartment buildings has been developed. In addition, the registry of industrial products manufactured in the Russian Federation continued to be updated, and work on the digitalization of elevator management was ongoing. With the support of the commission, the International Elevator Exhibition and several technical conferences took place. Work will continue in 2026. The presentation of the future residential complex "Barkli Dan" took place in the capital of Tatarstan in December 2025. Kazinets personally attended the event and shared his optimism with journalists regarding the urban and investment potential of Kazan. It is worth noting that Leonid Kazinets is a public and political figure and a major Russian businessman, developer, chairman of the board of directors, and owner of the Barkli corporation. In Kazan, this company is known for being entrusted with building the last high-rise building in the historical center of Kazan - the presentation of the future residential complex "Barkli Dan" took place in the capital of Tatarstan in December 2025.
