"They did this together with their grandchildren. A rich program and a warm atmosphere made the event memorable for everyone," shared the head of the Center, Angela Zakirova. The excursion was conducted by the director of the House of Friendship, Galina Terentieva. "She showed us the offices where the diasporas of the Nurlat district are located, and captivatingly told us about the traditions of the peoples living in our multinational district. During the excursion, we also learned about the national customs and holidays of different ethnic groups, saw household items, elements of traditional costumes, learned how different peoples preserve their traditions, and heard interesting stories about mutual assistance and cooperation between representatives of different nationalities," shared the head of the Longevity Center. As part of the visit to the House of Friendship, the silver volunteers also visited the "Brotherhood of Combat" museum, where items found during excavations from the Great Patriotic War and exhibits donated to the museum by soldiers of the Special Military Operation are collected. The grandchildren of the volunteers curiously examined the exhibits, asked questions, and learned new things about the diversity of cultures in their native district. For the older generation, this was an opportunity to remember their own traditions and share knowledge with the youth. As Angela Zakirova shared, the introduction to patriotic work and the story of Ilgiz Saifullin, the director of the "Outpost" Center, about the activities of the "Brotherhood of Combat" left a deep impression. "He detailed the work of the search team. The team regularly organizes expeditions to the Volgograd region to the sites of battles from the Great Patriotic War. The main goal of the searchers is to find the remains of each soldier and ensure a dignified burial. Ilgiz Riyazovich shared the stages of the team's work - conducting excavations at battle sites, searching for personal belongings and medallions to establish the identities of the deceased, interacting with archives to confirm data, organizing ceremonial burials, and passing information to the families of the soldiers," Angela Zakirova reported. This important mission helps preserve historical memory and pay tribute to the heroes who defended the Motherland. "The event also involved volunteers - members of the Public Council: Ayrat Rifovich Gareev, Madina Marsovna Kasimova," Angela Zakirova, a member of the Public Council, also shared. The excursion concluded with a tea party, which became a wonderful end to a busy day.

      The Center for Active Longevity and Health, as its head reported, plans to continue organizing similar meetings to create new opportunities for communication, education, and joint leisure for the older generation and youth.
