       For road repair works, Tatarstan plans to allocate 224 billion rubles. According to the estimate, the main investments will be directed to the M7 and R-239 highways.

       The Government of Russia has approved a list of road activities in Tatarstan for six years, from 2026 to 2031. According to the order signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, more than 224 billion rubles are planned to be allocated from the federal budget for the construction and reconstruction of roads in the Republic of Tatarstan. The bulk of the funds – over 183.8 billion rubles – is allocated for works on the M7 "Volga" highway. In particular, the continuation of the construction of the bypass around Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk will cost more than 83.6 billion rubles, and the reconstruction of the bridge over the Sviyaga River will cost almost 6.4 billion. Another 22.2 billion rubles are earmarked for the reconstruction of sections of the R-239 Kazan – Orenburg – border with Kazakhstan highway. The construction and reconstruction of the R-241 Kazan – Buinsk – Ulyanovsk highway is estimated at more than 5.4 billion rubles. In addition, federal funds are planned to be allocated for the installation of streetlights on the M7 and R-239 highways, the arrangement of 22 pedestrian crossings on the M7 (the total cost will be more than 3.6 billion rubles), the installation of acoustic screens on the A-295 Yoshkar-Ola – Zelenodolsk – M7 highway, and the renovation of roads in the Laishevsky district. As noted in the government press service's message, a total of more than 2,000 kilometers of federal and regional highways are planned for construction and reconstruction in Russia by the end of 2031, with work being carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life." It was previously reported that as of January and February of this year, the budget of Tatarstan received 84.5 billion rubles, which includes tax and non-tax types of income.
