The Rosreestr of Tatarstan explained why they are conducting comprehensive cadastral work.

      Residents of Tatarstan were informed about the specifics of conducting comprehensive cadastral works (CCW). Relevant answers to the most frequently asked questions were provided by specialists from the regional Rosreestr and Roskadastr during a hotline. It is noted that CCW is carried out as part of the state program "National Spatial Data System" and covers all real estate objects within one cadastral quarter. Notifications about such works are sent to owners via the State Services portal or by email, if it is specified in the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN). The agency explained that the boundaries of the plots and their area are clarified during the process. As a result, changes may occur—either an increase or a decrease, but not more than 10% from the original data. After the work is completed, the updated information appears in the EGRN and is displayed on the public cadastral map. The main goal of CCW is to bring information about real estate to an accurate and complete state, reduce the number of plots with undefined boundaries, and eliminate registry errors. This is especially important in conditions where land surveying has become mandatory for real estate transactions. If the owner disagrees with the established boundaries, they can send written objections to the reconciliation commission at the local government body. This can be done before the commission meeting or within 35 days after it is held. Following the completion of the work, a land-use plan map is created, which is used to enter information into the EGRN.
