JSC "Transneft - Prikamye" has been awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for participating in the project "Controlled Cyber Attacks in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation" in the Republic of Tatarstan. The award was presented to the company's General Director Oleg Balabanov by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev during the International Electric Power Forum "EnergoProm" in Kazan. Throughout 2025, the project "Controlled Cyber Attacks in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation," initiated by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the government of the republic, was implemented in Tatarstan. The goal was to enhance the cyber resilience of facilities and systems in the fuel and energy complex. JSC "Transneft - Prikamye" successfully participated in cyber testing alongside the largest fuel and energy companies in Tatarstan. Leading organizations in the field of assessing the security level of information infrastructure were involved in the project. The testing contributed to improving skills in ensuring cyber resilience, security, and reliability of the functioning of critical information infrastructure facilities of fuel and energy organizations in Tatarstan, as well as identifying problematic issues in ensuring the security of these facilities.
