      The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan found notary assistant Yulia Zaitseva guilty. However, she was released from punishment. This was reported by a correspondent from "BUSINESS Online". Zaitseva is an assistant to notary Alsu Georgiadi-Avdienko. She became a figure in a criminal case about the "house of death" in Shcherbakovo in September 2024. "To find Zaitseva guilty," ruled Judge Artem Mityayev. "To impose a penalty in the form of a fine of 190,000 rubles to the state. To release from the imposed penalty due to the expiration of the statute of limitations." She is accused under part 1 of article 202 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abuse of authority by private notaries"). Zaitseva does not admit her guilt, and the defense intends to appeal the decision and seek full acquittal. Previously, the prosecutor requested 2 years of imprisonment in a settlement colony for her. The prosecution believes that Zaitseva issued a general power of attorney to her niece, 76-year-old Alevtina Kanashova — Irina Belozerova — in the summer of 2023. With the help of the document, Belozerova was able to transfer all of the pensioner's property: two apartments in a building on Dostoevsky Street, a cottage, and a share in the authorized capital of LLC "Frant," which has commercial premises near the Moscow market. After that, the niece placed Kanashova in a private nursing home in Shcherbakovo, where the pensioner died. The investigation estimated Kanashova's property at 90 million rubles. Belozerova and the owner of the nursing home in Shcherbakovo, Chulpan Miftakhova, are also involved in the criminal case, in addition to psychiatrist Alexander Davydov, who issued a certificate about Kanashova's condition without an actual examination.

      Recall that in the Kazan village of Shcherbakovo, a secret nursing home was discovered in early September, where pensioners lived in unsanitary conditions. At that time, in addition to 22 residents, a corpse was found there. According to preliminary data, about 20 people died there over the course of a year.
