      The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan informs employers and employees that starting from January 1, 2026, the Federal Law of November 28, 2025, No. 429-FZ "On Amending Article 1 of the Federal Law "On the Minimum Wage" establishes the minimum wage in the territory of the Russian Federation at the level of 27,093 rubles per month. In the Republic of Tatarstan, based on Article 133.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, an Agreement was concluded on December 16, 2025, between the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Coordinating Council of Employers' Associations of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan regarding the minimum wage in the Republic of Tatarstan (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement). This Agreement stipulates that starting from January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in organizations of the non-budget sector of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will be set at 28,160 rubles per month. The minimum wage for employees of state and municipal institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan will be established in accordance with the Federal Law "On the Minimum Wage" (that is, starting from January 1, 2026, at the level of 27,093 rubles per month). Employers who violate labor legislation regarding the provision of the established state guarantee for the payment of the minimum wage will be held administratively liable in accordance with Article 5.27 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses.
