Today, a meeting of the "United Russia" faction took place in the State Council, where parliamentarians discussed issues related to changes in the composition of the deputy faction, as well as the progress of the federal party project "Clean Country" in Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the faction leader Yuri Kamaltynov. The meeting began with the awarding of parliamentarians with the Commemorative Medal of the public-state organization "Dynamo" of the Republic of Tatarstan for their significant contribution to the development of culture and sports, the promotion and popularization of the Dynamo movement, the provision of humanitarian, medical, and legal assistance to the residents of the Luhansk People's Republic and the fighters of the special military operation, as well as in connection with the 100th anniversary of the physical culture and sports society "Dynamo". The Commemorative Medal was awarded to Edward Abdullazyanov, Ilshat Aminov, Ramil Akhmetov, Danis Zaripov, Timur Kamaletdinov, Elena Kuzmicheva, Alexey Sozinov, Rinat Fazylov, Vladimir Chagin, Evgeny Chekashov, Alexander Chubarov. The faction also announced changes in the composition of the deputy faction in the State Council of the seventh convocation. A vacant deputy mandate from the list of the "United Russia" party, which arose due to the early termination of the powers of Farid Mukhametshin, was transferred to Lutfulla Shafigullin. The information on the progress of the federal party project "Clean Country" in the republic was presented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin. The main mission of the project is to improve the ecological situation in Russia and actively involve the population in activities aimed at preserving the country's natural wealth. In Tatarstan, the implementation of the project is focused on two key areas. The first is the development of ecological culture through systematic educational and enlightening work. The second is the expansion of the base of active supporters of the ecological agenda. The project is based on the key national goals of the Russian Federation - "Comfortable and safe living environment" and "Environmental well-being". Among the vivid examples of work on preserving and restoring ecological well-being in Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin mentioned oil-contaminated lands in the village of Shemordan in the Sabinsky district. "In 2020, as part of the national project 'Ecology', we began the reclamation of the first site," the minister said. "Excavation and disposal of bitumen waste and oil-contaminated soil were carried out. Subsequently, the area of over 12 thousand square meters was completely greened. In 2024, work in the village of Shemordan in the Sabinsky district continued on another disturbed land." In addition, within the framework of the party project, landfills were eliminated in the village of Prosti in the Nizhnekamsk district and in the city of Menzelinsk. "The main result was the improvement of the quality of life for 810 thousand residents of the republic," emphasized Azat Ziganshin. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan also spoke about the reclamation of the largest landfill in Tatarstan - the Samosyrovsky landfill. Since 2025, the liquidation of accumulated harm facilities is being implemented under the federal project "General Cleaning". As part of this initiative, work is planned in Tatarstan to eliminate two accumulated harm facilities: the old sludge dump of the Nizhnekamsk petrochemical plant and the solid waste landfill in Nurlat. In 2025, 297 environmental protection measures were implemented in Tatarstan with a total budget of 527 million rubles. A significant part of the funding - 192 million rubles - was allocated for the elimination of unauthorized landfills. "The residents of Tatarstan demonstrate high civic activity in the field of ecology, including within the framework of our traditional two-month campaign," Azat Ziganshin said. "According to last year's results, more than 350 thousand residents of Tatarstan personally participated in subbotniks and sredniks. About 340 thousand cubic meters of garbage were taken to landfills, and 8.5 thousand units of specialized equipment were involved. Approximately 350 thousand trees and shrubs were planted." Other issues were also discussed at the faction meeting.
