      In Almetyevsk, work has begun on the "Our Yard" program, which will be implemented for the seventh consecutive year in 2026. During this time, 351 yard areas have been renovated in the Almetyevsk district. The first works started in the "Alsou" microdistrict. On Galeeva Street, contractors have begun dismantling: they are removing the worn asphalt surface, clearing old curbs, and preparing trenches. Currently, active preparatory work is underway at the site. As part of the improvement, it is planned to completely renew the asphalt surface, modernize the lighting system, install new benches and bins, and also set up a container area for solid household waste. In addition, sidewalks will be widened to one and a half meters, and additional parking spaces will be created. A modern play and sports area will be created in place of the outdated playground. The "Our Yard" program was initiated by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Its key feature is taking into account the opinions of residents: at least three meetings are held for each yard, during which improvement projects are discussed and approved. In total, 24 yards are planned to be updated in the Almetyevsk district in 2026, of which 11 are located in rural settlements.

      All work is scheduled to be completed by Republic Day – August 30.
