Entrepreneurs in Tatarstan will be able to attract up to 50 billion rubles under "umbrella" guarantees.

Small and medium-sized businesses will be able to attract at least 50 billion rubles in borrowed financing under the "umbrella" guarantees of the SME Corporation in the second quarter of 2026. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, these guarantees will allow businesses to attract at least 216 billion rubles in financing. In 2025, Tatarstan became one of the leaders in the growth of financing volume under "umbrella" guarantees. The amount of attracted funds increased by 2.3 times (by 0.9 billion rubles). This is the third result among the regions, with the first two places taken by Samara Region (growth of 3.5 times, to 2.54 billion rubles) and Bashkortostan (growth of 2.6 times, to 2.9 billion rubles). Since the launch of the "umbrella" guarantee mechanism by the SME Corporation in 2021, about 92,000 entrepreneurs have received nearly 1.3 trillion rubles in borrowed financing. Of these, more than 60% went to small and medium-sized enterprises in the non-trade sector, including industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure construction, logistics, agriculture, scientific and technical activities, IT, and tourism. Umbrella guarantees help entrepreneurs obtain bank loans of up to 1 billion rubles in the absence or insufficiency of collateral, covering up to 50% of the loan amount. The guarantee is provided to businesses free of charge and automatically in a "single window" mode. The umbrella guarantee mechanism was launched at the request of the President of the Russian Federation and is implemented within the framework of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."
