Smart people from all over the southeastern Tatarstan gathered in Zainsk for the "Tukaev Readings."

      At school No. 6, the large-scale scientific and practical conference was held for the sixteenth time, gathering 80 research works from the districts of the republic. The sixteenth regional scientific and practical conference "Tukaev Readings" once again confirmed its status as one of the main platforms for young talents in eastern Tatarstan. Young talents gathered at school No. 6 to present their projects in the fields of philology, humanities, and more. The organizers managed to gather a representative geography of participants. This year, schoolchildren from Bugulma, Leninogorsk, Sarmanovo, Almetyevsk, Aznakayevo, Aktanysh, Nizhnekamsk, and other districts, as well as, of course, the hosts — the clever boys and girls from Zainsk — came to Zainsk. A total of 94 research works were submitted for the conference, from which a strict jury selected 80 for in-person defense. This year's "Tukaev Readings" were marked by a significant date — the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. This theme ran like a red thread through many presentations and gave the conference a special, enlightening pathos. The opening ceremony was led by the director of school No. 6, Laysan Kamalieva, who welcomed the guests and noted the important mission of the conference — to promote the development of intellectual and artistic creativity among students, as well as to engage them in serious research activities. Schoolchildren defended their works in three sections: "Philology," "Humanities," and "First Steps in Science." The last section traditionally gathered the youngest researchers, for whom participation in the conference was their first serious immersion in project activities. The works of the participants were evaluated by a representative commission. The jury included experts from the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (branch) of KFU, the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the TISBI University of Management, the Nizhnekamsk Chemical Technology Institute, as well as representatives from Zainsk organizations and the media. During the project defenses, a special atmosphere of excitement mixed with enthusiasm reigned in the auditoriums. As the jury members noted in their conclusions, the students impressed the experts not only with the depth of their material but also with their boldness in choosing topics. At the end of the conference, the winners and prizewinners received well-deserved diplomas.

      While the schoolchildren defended their research, a separate educational program was organized for teachers who came from other cities. A round table was held on current topics in modern pedagogy and education, where teachers were able to exchange experiences and best practices. The "Tukaev Readings" in Zainsk once again proved that interest in the native language, culture, and science among the younger generation is not only not fading but is growing stronger year by year.
