Road sections to Bolgar will be repaired in Tatarstan as part of the national project.

Some of them provide access to the ancient Bolgar and the museum-reserve, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. This concerns the section Bazarniye Mataki - Bolgar, as well as the road Alexeyevskoe - Vysokiy Kolok - Bazyakovo - Tukay. Both routes lead to the historical complex. In addition, there are plans to repair sections of the roads Chistopol - Nizhnekamsk and Chistopol - Nurlat. The restoration of these routes will open access for tourists to Chistopol, where merchant mansions, museums, and the Skaryatin Garden have been preserved. Special attention should be paid to the Chistopol Museum-Reserve and the memorial museum of Boris Pasternak.

      Also, the repair of the road section Kazan - Ulyanovsk - Kamskoye Ustye is planned. It is part of a four-day car route "Through the Pages of History: Discovering the Secrets of Tatarstan by Car." The program includes Kamskoye Ustye, the island-town of Sviyazhsk, and the Raifa Monastery. The Assumption Cathedral in Sviyazhsk is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. All works are aimed at developing tourism, popularizing historical and cultural heritage, and increasing the comfort of travel across the republic. Good roads make beautiful places closer and more accessible.
