This date, one of the darkest events in history, annually gathers the residents of Buinsk for a meeting. This year it took place at the R. Z. Sagdeev school. Dozens of people from our district went to eliminate the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Unfortunately, many of them are no longer with us today. The locals recalled those terrible days at the meeting, and their eyes filled with tears. "After this tragedy, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was sealed thanks to the strength and efforts of fearless heroes like you. We must not forget this. You are a true example of patriotism. We wish you health and peace to your families," said the first deputy head of the Buinsky district, Rifaat Khamidullin. The military commissioner of the Buinsky and Drozhzhanovsky districts, Radik Tukhfatullin, spoke about the heroism of the liquidators, how the men fulfilled their duty to the end, using them as an example.
